Overview of 2015

Before 2015 comes to an end,

remember me saying that I will jot down the new experience(s) that I had every month of 2015?

Yup below is what I jotted down after each month so at the end of 2015, I get to see what I've accomplished. Not exactly accomplished but what are the main events that happened throughout the year :) This is a really good way though, it kinda pushes me to do something new each month?

As can be seen, April & November are lame months cause they are the examination months! Usual events like friends bday/ bf bday/ family bday and what not are not recorded here cause like I said, these are those new things that happened.

The main new experiences are namely Hot Yoga, being a calefare at Mediacorp, Biz Mag for sports camp pageant event, Learn driving, Adventure cove, Standard Chartered Marathon!!!!!

Countries I've been to in 2015: Bangkok, Malaysia (kukup + ksl), Melbourne!

Not forgetting 2 staycations @ Studio M & Hard Rock Hotel.

Last but not least, I proved myself and my parents that actually I can get good results as long as I put my mind to study. This sem I really studied and wow, I showed myself that I can do it, lol I'm not very lousy in academics after all. Laziness kills, I always tell myself that I cannot do it so I do not need to put in effort to study because I hate studying for lame academic stuffs. Like how on earth would someone do that right? But yah, I partially gave up on studying since sec4..... LOL! *shhh secret* Hope I will continue to study???? HOPE SO LAH OK SEE HOW HAHA :P

Hehe that's why to me, 2015 has been pretty interesting with quite a few adventures and goals :D May 2016 be better and good to everyone and the world!! 

Begone mishaps and heartaches, time will heal, things will get better for you guys

KSL Trip

Isn't this pretty? I've seen this signage on instagram for a lot of times already and so I've been wanting to check it out. It is a rooftop bar named Loof. Cool right?

Since this year our big family decided not to have any xmas countdown as we were heading to KSL for xmas season already so..... us cousins went out to chill on xmas eve for the first time haha! We have never (i guess) celebrated xmas eve outside of home before haha! Well xmas eve did lack the festive feel and vibe without our usual big family celebration though.

Ordered the platter to share, yumyum :)

& ofc our cider/beer/mock tail/liquor. Some are nice and some are not lol! If you are checking this place out, you can order the Bulmers cider which is niceeeee, moscato which will never go wrong and mock tails haha. Some that we tried were mehhhh, like the frozen lime margarita, gulps.....

The rooftop bar is actually quite small though but full house leh, a lot of ppl went there to chill as well. Hmmm not bad not bad. I like the signage and the atmosphere haha anything in the nature/ out in the open/ has fresh air, I'm up for it :D

Ended our xmas eve with countdown on the bus and cousin exclaiming MERRY CHRISTMAS on bus, LOL!!! But wth? Singaporeans really oblivious, no reaction one just continue using their phones/on their earpiece. Actually I really dislike ppl who are on their earpiece i just hate the sight of it, especially those who caused inconvenience to ppl due to their oblivion.

2D1N in KSL D'Esplanade Residence Malaysia 

From the name Residence, you already know it's not the typical hotel/resort kinda thing, it's a freaking condominium! And I can say that their condo rooms are bigger than Sg's. Damn nice!!! You know one unit can accommodate my family + 2 other cousins' families. Our "house" has 4 rooms and the master bed room is really huge like can play catching inside no joke! The other 2 cousins' families stayed in another unit and theirs was even better!! It was a more luxurious suite with private pool! We wanted to book that also but no more vacancies for it already.

Because adults were predicting a massive crazy jam on Christmas day morning, we departed very early in the morning like 530am!! 3 cars filled with people while me and 5 other people took the bus in. Bus is surprisingly fast and convenient leh, not bad!! :) Somemore got straight bus near my house kekek! So... we reached ksl very early and had to wait for 6 hours+? for the check in time @ 3pm... zzzz...... well we did tour the shopping mall while waiting so not so bad? but still damn long.... could have slept longer but......... better than get caught in a jam? 

The view!!! The building opposite ours is KSL hotel & resort. Looks nice as well! The pools below are called the Dinosaur island, the dinosaurs can move and they have a dinosaur mascot like the one in Return of The Superman daehan minguk manse part, hhaha!

The sky and the infinity pool below our "house". The common pool is an infinity pool, we went there during evening time and I dont know why the wind was suddenly so big and the pool was freezing cold! My ears were hurting from the coldness, not even exaggerating. My ears were hurting the same back in Melbourne holy..... I thought I was experiencing winter or sth, mad cold leh, shivering in the pool like mad! Luckily we had our shirts on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We climbed over the glass panels into our cousin's private pool, damn big as well. The suite is really huge with a small garden as well. Wew wew!!

Thanks to our nephew for being our underwater photographer and cousin's waterproof sony phone hahahah!! Awesome I love underwater photos!!! :D

After that had the famous BKT for dinner just opposite the Ksl Mall!!! There is a whole stretch of famous eateries just opposite ksl mall, damn convenient?!?!? DAMN YUMMY I CANNOT EVEN DESCRIBE!!!! I love it!!! and damn freaking cheap!!! Total bill for 3 tables with like lots of dishes came up to 450RM, which is like around $6 per pax. SIAO RIGHT!?!?!?!?! 

That's why malaysia is really a place with cheap good food!!!! Shiok love it! :D After that we shopped around the Ksl mall which has lots of floors and the prices also very cheap one! The males bought alot on this trip haha and the females surprisingly didn't really buy anything haha! I guess more for the males? Males apparels are really damn cheap here, even if it's branded(msia brand ofc), can buy can buy!! :D There's also alot of electronic stuff and plushies!!!! 

Next morning it was time to check out and go back sg, damn fast!!! :( We went to eat at the seafood & porridge store just beside the bkt one, haha really is one whole stretch of delicious food! :P Total bill came up to like 600+RM for 3 tables. Still cheap!!!

Hehe whenever my whole family goes into one shop, the shop will be half filled already cause we always need 3 or more tables lol!! Shopping also, when our whole family goes in, the shop keeper will be very happy LOL cause it's like very crowded which signifies business though we didn't buy anything haha!! (happens all the time in sg)

In the evening we went back sg and then went cousin hse to slack and celebrate grandma's bday :) *missing alot of ppl in the photo* 

Having a big family is really god's greatest gift, the biggest blessing in life.

Staycation @ Hard Rock Hotel Sg

YIPEEEEE!!!! Finally went for the long awaited 3D2N staycation with my bubz!!! :D

Gosh you have no idea how excited we were to be there again, just the 2 of us!

Also, it's the start of our common holiday so double yay <3

Our room this time was different from the previous time, he seemed to prefer the previous one cause it has a small balcony but I prefer this!! I love it when rooms have the chair or whichever resting thingy beside the window and the view is awesome :)

Asked him to jump on the bed with me and initially he was like not into it but after jumping??? Happy boy huh?? :D HAHA who will not be happy after jumping on bed? :P

Curtains always closed though the view so nice zzzz....

I like my room to be BRIGHT, LIGHT, SUNLIGHT coming in from the window with the view, but my vampire boy likes it DARK, DIM, NO SUNLIGHT zzz cause he can't take the brightness. Even at home his room curtains also closed one haiyooooooo

It's too damn comfy inside hehe but the downside is that the reception and internet is damn lousy? NO FREE WIFI can you imagine??! Other hotels in sg have free wifi but not rws?!? Rws lehhh, alot tourists one leh.... how can?!!? Oh... want suck money isit.... zzz lame..... please lah.

So we practically didnt use our phones while we were in the room, luckily got dramas on tv! :)

2nd night where we went out to Dakota to have dinner. Wanted to eat at the Old Airport road's hawker but damn suay?!?! It was closed for cleaning lol so we walked further down to another coffee shop to have curry fish head heheh :)

While walking along the bridge, someone said "wow so many lights ah like deepavali leh festival of lights" HAHAHA WTS?

Actually other than all these structures and the game booths, there really isn't anything else but I still like it cause I like structures I like scenery!! 

Furthermore they are lighted at night, niceeeee I like!! :)

See see!! When I bring out my camera, this is what he will become HAHA straightaway volunteers to carry the camera and then go on snapping away. He can take nice pictures of structures... hmm he havent try take nice pictures of... ME? He did take videos of me though hahah not bad lah :P

It's damn hard to capture ourselves with the structure luh, got fedup and approached ppl for help... which still didn't really turn out nice.... hahaha

Here comes the epic game booths! There are 3 different booths but this was the easiest?!?! At first we were just watching ppl play and discussing the strategy and after a few ppl got the prize, we decided to give it a shot!! Changed $12 worth of tokens = 3 rounds.

He played 2 times while I tried 1 time. holllyyyy crabbb of the muthafriggin gawd....... 9 balls and we hit nothing.... n o t h i n g , not a freaking block was hit..... flying fuggaroni?!!? LOL WE WERE SHOCKED AND LOST FOR WORDS HHAAHAH can only back out and laugh at one side!!!!!! omgggggggggggg how the hell man!!! AHHAH too epic I cannot!! arghhhhhh :(((((

But well nvm lah, next time we know what kind can play what kind cannot haha! He won a baby shark for me last time while playing at such game booth. It was a basketball game so perhaps easier for him?? Haha he kinda likes to play at these type of game booths and usually I dont even want to play cause like quite ex? and the prize always not nice? haha but after being with him, hmmm I tried quite a few already keke

Back to our hotel yay, nearer to Bayfront as well :) How I wish we can stay there for a week????

It was a blast, I had so much fun hehe!!! :D Definitely another great memory :)
