Melbourne 2015

I'm so lazy to blog about my Melbourne trip cause seriously?!?! So many days and we did so many things haha, But well, I will just do a summary cause most of the pictures I've already posted on my Facebook and like some of the attractions I've already posted on my Instagram.

It was really one of my more memorable and fulfilling ones! :) Many a times I see people travel with their friends/boyfriends and didn't travel as much with their family. Hmmm......????  To me, the best company is still family. It will be double great if it is with family and relatives! :D

From the pictures you can see our messy hair because the wind there was crazy super duper crazy!!! During the period when we were there, the lowest was 6 degrees and average of 10-12 degrees and when we were heading home it was 18 degrees. We were all freezing but got used to it after some time, it's super cooling and shiok leh. Not like now, everyday sweating in sg :(

Total 10 pax :D

Melbourne has been fantastic :) This year, I don't know why but soooooooooooooooooooo many people traveled to Melbourne like ermm....... it isn't even popular or talked about a lot in past years? Or at least not very popular on instagram etc. It has always been Bangkok, Korea, Japan, Taiwan and then suddenly, Melbourne pops up. Haha we decided to go to Melbourne like very early in the year even before the sudden hype. When it was decided that we were going Melbourne, I wasn't very VERY excited initially cause erm.. I don't know much about it? But during April, May, June period it was crazy. Tons and tons of people went over to Melbourne, like seriously non-stop featuring of Melbourne on social media platforms. Haha WHAT HAPPENED?

So my virgin trip out of asia was given to MELBOURNE and it was nothing short of amazinggggggggg :D Hehehehe would definitely love to check out other parts of Australia like Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast! :O I really love Aussie after the trip because you can feel the nature in Australia. One reason is cause the place is HUGE so yah a lot of parts are not developed into buildings, houses etc and just left alone like that. So the trees, the fields, the free roaming animals are everywhere and you just feel so relaxed and blissful there hahahaha!

Everywhere is photo worthy, like pictures you can find on the internet or postcards. Too breathtaking! Don't you just feel "ahhhhhh shiok" just by looking at those?? :)

Also, we rent a van to travel around in Melbourne which was an extremely great idea if it's for a big group? Cause you can get to anywhere conveniently :D And get to see so many free roaming animals as you drive along. Seriously, there is no day or no where that you will not see animals along the road sides hahaha animal lovers? you'll be in love! Even the seal..... wow... we were really super lucky! <3

We booked 2 apartments for 10 of us via Airbnb! Gosh, the apartments there are so bigggggg and the price is cheap. Falling in love with their big apartments man...... living in a dream for the 7 days to be exact (2 days to & fro spent on plane).

Our 1st apartment @ Airey Inlet, so many floors lol climb and climb and climb. We booked this apartment cause we wanted to explore the long Great Ocean Road and I think it is a must when you go Melbourne but without a car, it's too difficult to explore it. There are Wye River, Apollo Bay, Cape Otway Lighthouse, The Twelve Apostles and gosh so many attractions. It was impossible to stop everywhere so we had to sieve out a few :(

When traveling overseas to a more expensive country or about the same standard of living as sg, it's always a good idea to cook breakfast and sometimes dinner ourselves! If not what's the use of booking the whole apartment? :P Loving all the homecooked breakies and dinners :D Yumyum!!!

Every morning we were greeted by a few cuckadoos and crow and the guys would go and feed them haha!

Video of our 1st apartment tour. Pardon my voice and descriptions hahaha I was tryna act those vloggers LOL and I filmed it to show my boyfriend.

& then, after a few days, we moved to our 2nd apartment where it's in the city area :) The city area is a whole new sight cause it's different from the countryside? Isit called a countryside? But it's not very rundown leh aiya it's just not city area. Aiya you get it.

Took turns to prepare dinner and breakfast. Didn't post all of them here of course if not will flood lol.

(my file is too big to upload onto blogger so i had to convert it using some application and so ugly cause got their logo.... zzz.... idiotic but heck care lah, somemore still go and rotate my video argh.....)

Video again, but this time round I didn't film the entire thing cause phone no space zzzzzz and as you can see I wasted alot of time taking out my shoes hahaha!! While from where it stopped, I wanted to film the super huge room with walk in wardrobe with huge bathroom. Yea picture it yourself :D Anyway their bathroom is so cool, it's white and gold so royally? :D I like white x gold!

In addition, we went to hell lots of places.
- Werribee Open Range Zoo to see some of the protected animals or animals that are facing extinction
- Healsville Animal Sanctuary to see more animals and to witness a koala bear surgery where all the internal organs and head were cut open and detached ouch
- Puffing Billy Station to take the cool train
- St Kilda Pier Jetty to come up close with penguins omfg
- Brighton Beach to see the bath boxes
- St Patrick's Cathedral
- Casino
- Westgate Park for their pink lake
- Port Melbourne Beach
- Queen Victoria Market for their very happening night market which was an eyeopener
- Royal Botanic Gardens for a small picnic
- Flinders Street and Degraves Street which are filled with graffiti and yummy food
